Commercial Installers Warehouse Racking

Position Summary

J & J Companies is seeking dependable and motivated Pallet Rack Installer(s) to join our growing team. This position is responsible for installing modifying repairing and dismantling pallet racking industrial shelving mezzanines wire partitions and other warehouse storage systems at customer facilities. We will train!

Most projects are completed within a 100-mile radius of Columbia PA with approximately 20% overnight travel for larger regional projects. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work is mechanically inclined works well as part of a team and is committed to delivering quality workmanship while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities- On the Job Training!

• Install pallet rack systems industrial shelving cantilever racks and warehouse storage equipment.
• Perform rack modifications relocations repairs and teardown projects.
• Safely load unload and organize materials tools and equipment.
• Travel to customer locations throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pallet rack installation commercial construction warehouse equipment installation carpentry steel erection or related trades is a plus but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Comfortable working at heights
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Forklift and scissor lift experience is a plus but training will be provided.
• Valid drivers license with reliable transportation to our Columbia PA location and/or directly to jobsites.
