PAINTER

Responsibilities of selected candidate will include but are not limited to the following:

fill and prime surfaces for painting.
paint components and match colors.
paint with a brush roller or spray gun.
plaster to surfaces.
on and from ladders platforms and scaffolds.
lines and scaffolds.

Note: Due to the existence of a civil service list candidates must have permanent civil service status in the title of Painter to be considered.

Qualifications :

1. Five years of full-time satisfactory experience as a painter acquired within the last fifteen years; or
2. At least three years of full-time satisfactory experience as a painter acquired within the last fifteen years and sufficient full-time satisfactory apprentice painter experience to make up a total of five years of acceptable experience. Six months of acceptable experience will be credited for each year of apprentice painter experience.
