Paint Supervisor

The Paint Supervisor plans schedules assigns directs and supervises the work performed by bargaining unit staff. Responsible for overall supervision of maintenance andrepair work on the interior and exterior building surfaces. Assures work quality and progress in compliance with the collective bargaining agreementJHH standards and local state and federal codes. This work is performed under limited supervision and using the tools and techniques of painting andplastering technology.

Full time (40 hours) Day Shift Weekend work required

Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital Baltimore MD

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Requires 10 years related work experience of which at least 5 years has been in a supervisorycapacity.
• Knowledge of painting techniques procedures and materials.
• Knowledge of safety rules procedures and practices including the proper use of safetyequipment as defined by OSHA and industry standards.
• Functional knowledge of computer applications (PC- and network-based) including Windows departmental e-mail word processing database spreadsheet and maintenance/work orderprocessing applications packages.

Salary Range: Minimum 29.84/hour - Maximum 52.23/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
