Paid Voter Outreach Canvasser

Start at $23/hour Rising to $24/hour after completing two full weeks of employment.

Campaign Industries is hiring canvassers in Harlingen and McAllen TX. You will go door to door and talk with voters about the upcoming election.

This is a temporary job. We expect it to end on or around Election Day November 3 2026.

• $23/hour starting pay
• $100 weekly travel stipend prorated for partial weeks
• Paid training
• Paid weekly every Friday
• Benefits: paid sick leave as required by state or local law. Temporary employees are not eligible for company health insurance.

• You are a W-2 employee not an independent contractor.
• You are paid by the hour. There is no commission and no pay per signup.
• You will never pay a fee or buy anything to work here.
• You will complete hiring paperwork through Paycom our payroll system.
• You will have support from experienced field leadership.

Tuesday through Saturday 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Your schedule may change based on campaign needs.

This is an in-person outdoor job. You will need to do the following:

• Be outdoors for most of your shift about 6 hours a day in heat cold rain and other weather.
• Travel from home to home in residential neighborhoods for most of your shift. Neighborhoods may include hills uneven sidewalks steps and driveways.
• Carry what you need for the day such as a phone water and printed materials.
• Talk with voters one-on-one at their doors and keep conversations respectful and on message.
• Use a smartphone app to find assigned addresses and document each conversation. Training is provided.
• Get to your assigned area at the start of each shift.

• Ability to walk several miles per shift and work outdoors
• Ability to communicate respectfully with diverse voters

Valued:

• Prior canvassing or door-to-door experience
• Familiarity with Hidalgo County and the surrounding areas
• Spanish language skills
