We are seeking a Packaging Engineer to lead endtoend engineered packaging projects across Vehicle and Energy platforms. This role will partner with design manufacturing supply chain and logistics teams to develop innovative packaging solutions that ensure efficient delivery of parts without compromising quality or manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead packaging projects from concept to implementation

• Develop protective packaging containers dunnage and shipping racks (domestic & international)

• Apply CAD and technical design methods (datum structure GD&T tolerance analysis)

• Monitor KPIs and drive packaging standards and improvements

• Manage expendable to returnable packaging projects and sustainability initiatives

• Oversee project budgets risks and vendor management

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering Packaging Industrial Design or equivalent

• Strong CAD and technical drawing skills (GD&T tolerance stackup analysis)

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes (machining welding injection molding)

• Knowledge of materials (aluminum steel composites foam etc.)

• Experience designing to standards (ASTM MilSpec)

• Strong understanding of packaging testing and validation

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive continuous improvement

• Willingness to travel up to 30%
