Pace Maintenance Technician- Greenacres and Delray

SUMMARY

Responsible for performing a variety of electrical mechanical and plumbing repairs on the Centers facilities equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and Quality Assurance inspections under the direct supervision of the Director of Plant Operations.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

• Performs preventative maintenance on the HVAC Laundry Dietary and facility equipment and records all pertinent information on the appropriate logs.
• Performs maintenance and electrical repairs on the chilled water system boilers heaters compressors refrigeration laundry and dietary equipment.
• Completes routine and preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Understands and complies with all procedures and regulations as related to Fire Safety OSHA and Disaster programs.
• Adheres to proper safety procedures while operating repairing or utilizing all facility equipment.
• Communicates in an effective and courteous manner with all residents facility personnel and visitors.
• Maintains an available schedule on off-duty hours for on-call and emergency situations.
• Performs other related duties as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
