SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Diagnose and treat acute episodic or chronic illness independently or as part of a healthcare team. May focus on health promotion and disease prevention. May order perform or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. May prescribe.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required.
- National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Relevant experience preferred.
