Job Summary
Location: Remote (global; must have hands-on North America market experience)
Reports To: Domestic Market VP with regular sync-ups to the President
Opening Date: September 2026 Expected Start: ASAP
- Formulate and execute user-acquisition (UA) strategies for North America across paid social ad networks DSP Apple Search Ads and emerging channels; orchestrate growth of GALA Sports overseas game portfolio in North America.
- Define and manage media mix budget allocation and ROAS/CPI targets across multiple products.
- Collaborate with the internal creative team to lead creative strategy: briefs testing and UA asset iteration.
- Develop and execute publishing and go-to-market (GTM) plans for new launches content updates seasonal events and live ops.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with UA agencies KOL/influencer partners and platform partners (Meta Google Apple).
- Work closely with China-based marketing product and data teams to align global strategy.
- Produce North America market insights that feed into product roadmap and monetization decisions.
- 5-10 years of mobile-game marketing experience with a real track record (not just execution) in UA management and publishing strategy.
- Prior experience in sports / licensed-IP / mid-to-hardcore mobile-game publishing preferred.
- Hands-on ability to scale UA simultaneously across multiple products.
- Deep familiarity with the North America mobile-game market and UA landscape.
- Hands-on experience managing large UA budgets across multiple channels.
- Able to collaborate cross-culturally with Asian (preferably China) R&D and marketing teams.
- Self-driven entrepreneurial able to work independently in a remote setting.
- 5-10 years of mobile-game marketing and publishing experience with hands-on management of large UA budgets and media mixes.
- Hands-on management of multiple channels (paid social ad networks DSP Apple Search Ads).
- English fluency (to interface with Meta/Google/Apple and NA KOLs).
- Bachelors degree.
- Must be able to provide: complete case of NA mobile-game publishing projects and UA scale of portfolio products; scale of UA budget managed with ROAS/CPI results; GTM launch orchestration experience; status of partnerships/resources with Meta Google Apple agencies and KOLs.
- Core threshold: end-to-end NA mobile-game publishing experience; hands-on scaled UA buying with accountability for ROAS/CPI (able to produce top-level publishing strategy not just execution); hands-on experience with at least two of Meta Google Apple.
- End-to-end NA publishing experience in sports / licensed-IP / mid-to-hardcore mobile games; experience at vendors such as EA 2K Games Zynga First Touch Games preferred.
- Familiar with sports-IP game publishing such as FIFPro NBA MLB.
- Established partnerships with Meta Google Apple plus NA UA agencies and KOLs.
- Data-driven; makes media-mix and budget-allocation decisions based on ROAS/CPI.
- Entrepreneurial spirit; able to operate independently across time zones.
- Chinese language and Chinese-vendor experience are pluses not requirements
- Purely domestic publishing with no overseas (especially NA) market experience.
- Only execution-level buying optimization with no publishing-strategy or GTM experience.
- Unable to use English as a working language.
