Overhaul Technician, Entry

Position Summary

The OverhaulTechnicianEntry will ensure compression units areoperatingwithout issue inspecting repairing and replacing parts when necessary. He/she will work closely with the Field Supervisors and Area Managers todeterminewhat units need repairs or replacements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Work closely with Field Supervisors and Area Mangers toidentifyunits thatare in need ofrepair or overhaul work

• Prioritize repair work when there are competing demands

• Assess repair/replacement needs andidentifythe best solution

• Communicate clearly with other overhaul team members to work quickly and efficiently

• Perform consistent inspections and maintenance of units to proactively ensure unit health

• Replace specific parts of the unit as neededin order tomaintainefficiency

• Work across areas and regions seamlessly

• Perform anyadditional miscellaneous tasks as delegated

Education Experience & Training

• 0-2 years in natural gas compression or related experience

• OEM trade school or comparable work experience in a related field/industry

• Strong mechanical intuition or ability

• Comprehension of OEM and miscellaneous technical manuals and literature

• Strong mechanical aptitude/mechanically inclined.

• Communication and customer service skills

• Microsoft Office suite (excel word outlook)

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands

• Overtime extended or non-traditional working hours may be

• Intermittent lifting of > 50lbs from the ground

• Must be able to stand or walk on uneven terrain climb personnel stairs and ladders stoopsquatand/or crawl depending on the directed task

• Exposure to extreme temperatures weatherconditionsand environments on a location-by-location basis

• High noise environment (>85dbA) will occur with ear protection

• Potential controlled exposure to hazardous chemicals
