We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Outreach Respite Manager to join our team in Limerick Family Support Services Limerick.

Contract Type: Full Time Permanent Contract

Contract Hours: 35 Hours per week

Salary Scale: 55430 to 68228 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSIs (Long Service Increments)

This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.

Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 Days per annum pro rata

Overview of the Post:

The post holder will be responsible for the development management and delivery of a range of respite services in the region including day evening and weekend respite afterschool support summer activity sessions and future alternative respite services across the Southeast. This includes responsibility for the management of staffing budgets and the provision of the highest standards of respite care. This will consist of planning developing managing and reviewing services in line with the identified needs in the area and aligned to Enable Irelands Strategic Plan and model of service delivery.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and the implementation of Enable Ireland policies and procedures ensuring that services are child-centered and in line with best practice ensuring a high standard of clinical care is maintained.

The successful candidate will line manage and provide support and supervision and ensure appropriate training is delivered to the staff team.

The successful candidate will have

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognised third level qualification in Nursing or Social care relevant to the post
  • Experience working with children with disabilities
  • Previous management/supervisory experience relevant to the role
  • Experience leading and managing teams and resource management
  • Full drivers license and access to own transport
  • Must have a right to work in the country
  • Be CORU/NMBI registered

Desirable Criteria:

  • Management Qualification
  • Experience delivering training.
  • Experience of working in the health care or not for profit sector.
