Job Summary
AECOM is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our Transportation Demand Management (TDM) team in Delaware. As an Outreach Coordinator for Delaware Commute Solutions you will play a key role in promoting sustainable commuting options across the state. This program supported by the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) and the Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC) aims to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality by encouraging the use of alternative transportation modes such as carpooling public transit biking walking and teleworking.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with employer partners to support the implementation of commuter programs.
- Promote alternative transportation options through outreach events and marketing campaigns.
- Develop and deliver presentations to employers stakeholders and community groups.
- Organize and participate in onsite and virtual events to engage employees and increase program participation.
- Assist employers in creating customized commuter plans including carpool programs transit benefits and flexible work arrangements.
- Utilize social media and digital platforms to raise awareness of Delaware Commute Solutions.
- Track outreach activities and employer engagement using .
- Meet or exceed performance metrics related to outreach engagement and program adoption.
- Attend local networking events and public meetings to expand program visibility.
- Generate new partnerships through proactive outreach including cold calling and referrals.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in marketing business communications or a related field or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
- A valid US Drivers License is required to visit project sites clients and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment the selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
Preferred Qualifications:
- Written and verbal communication experience and skills
- Experience managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in communicating and presenting in a public engagement environment
- Experience successfully meeting performance goals or metrics.
- Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
