Outpatient Pharmacist

• Providespharmaceutical care to customers of Saint AlphonsusOutpatientpharmacies.

SKILLS KNOWLEDGE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacyrequired. PharmD preferred.

• Must be licensed bytheIdahoState Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Knows understands incorporates and demonstrates the Organizations Mission Vision and Values in behaviors practices and decisions.

• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups (Neonate Child Adolescent Adult Geriatric as applicable).

• Ensuresthe accuracy of documenting services and supplies provided to the patients.

• Reviews patient history incorporating various pharmacy activities providing customers with adequate education for optimum outcomes.

• Prepares pharmaceutical products for patients use by safe andcost-effectivemethods using acceptable professional standards.

• Comprehends and supports quality assurance and risk management issues.

• Participates in various departmentaldutiesmaterial resource management clerical and financial responsibilities safety and other issues.

• Supervises technicians and pharmacy support personnel.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Basic computer skills.

• Ability to adapt to institutional roles and schedules.
