Job Summary

Clean Harbors is looking for a Local Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team in San Jose CA! This route runs from San Jose CA to various customer sites and locations and is a home daily position.

About the role:

Drivers average $75-$100K per year.
Daily home time.
Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Operates tractor-trailer units and other vehicles.
Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units.
Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads.
Placard vehicles in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations.
Maintains daily logs time sheets expense reports dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.
Perform additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Class A CDL Required.
12 months of Class A driving experience Required.
HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements Required.
Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.
