Occupational Therapist Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Masters Degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Texas Occupational Therapy License (or able to option before anticipated start date)
- 1 year of experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and create tailored treatment goals to enhance functional abilities.
- Administer occupational therapy services to improve skills like range of motion strength coordination and activities of daily living.
- Train and support families with techniques and strategies to reinforce therapy goals at home.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care; supervision of assistants is a plus.
