OT Assistant

Pahokee Health & Rehab is looking for a dedicated compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team!

Our goal is to provide high-quality care while helping our residents maintain their independence improve their quality of life and reach their highest level of function.

Location: Pahokee FL
Facility: Pahokee Health & Rehab
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with activities designed to improve strength mobility coordination and independence.
• Develop positive relationships with residents and their families.
• Document treatments and resident progress accurately and timely.
• Work closely with nursing therapy and other departments as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Follow all facility policies procedures and applicable regulations.
• Help create a positive and supportive environment for our residents.

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of Florida.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable professional and committed to providing quality resident care.
• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
