Job Summary
Assist and support instructors fabrication measurement impression taking modification and fitting of upper limb prosthetics in the clinical portion of Upper Limb Prosthetics course. This is a support role to the course coordinator. The support role assists in the safety of the students during fabrication and patient model evaluation and fittings. (in-person)
Essential Functions
- Assist in Labs with Patient Models
- Assist in modification and fabrication labs
- Monitor patient models and students safety in labs
- Support instructions fabrication measurement impression taking modification and fitting of upper limb prosthetics in the clinical portionMonitor and record studentparticipationon the Discussion Board.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 3-years of experience
- Must be an ABC Prosthetist (CP) and/or Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO)
- Experience in Upper Limb Prosthetics patient care
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Fabrication techniques
- Computer Skills (Microsoft Word Excel)
