Position Summary

The orthopedic clinic APP is a key provider within the ambulatory orthopedic team focusing on comprehensive musculoskeletal care in the outpatient setting. They collaborate closely with patients family members and a multidisciplinary team to evaluate diagnose and treat orthopedic conditions ensuring optimal recovery and mobility.
This position specializes in assessing and managing orthopedic injuries and conditions providing non-surgical treatment options and overseeing rehabilitation strategies. The clinic APP will perform joint injections arthrocentesis diagnostic imaging reviews and minor outpatient procedures while educating patients on injury prevention and long-term musculoskeletal health. Additionally they contribute to evidence-based orthopedic care optimizing treatment protocols and supporting continuity of and diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders and injuriesDevelopment and implementation of individualized treatment plansJoint injections arthrocentesis and other minor outpatient proceduresInterpretation of diagnostic imaging (X-rays MRIs CT scans)Postoperative care management including wound assessment pain control and rehabilitation guidancePatient education on injury prevention rehabilitation and orthopedic healthMaintain accurate patient records while adhering to hospital policies and regulationsCollaborate with orthopedic surgeons physical therapists and clinical staff to ensure coordinated careParticipate in clinic-based call rotation as neededRequirementsLicensed in the state of WA by the time of employment DEA NPI & prescriptive authority Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package including competitive salary medical dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $172000.00 - $172000.00 USD. However pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants including but not limited to: skill set level of experience and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicants years of experience align.
