Orthodontic Assistant

We are looking to hire an Experienced Orthodontic Assistant who is excited about a fun and rewarding career in Orthodontics! This position would support our three Southwest Missouri offices in Springfield Nixa and Republic. Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm.

This position would be supporting our orthodontic practice with a focus on early adolescent and adult treatment. We provide braces clear aligners retainers and night guards. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist orthodontists during orthodontic procedures including placing and removing orthodontic brackets archwires and bands.
• Take accurate scans/impressions of patients teeth for the creation of orthodontic appliances.
• Prepare and sterilize orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide instructions for appliance care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate patient records including treatment charts progress notes and digital imaging.
