About the team

Klaviyo went public in 2023 and is scaling fast. This is a rare chance to lead and build the Order to Cash (O2C) foundation for a company at this inflection point. The Finance Technology Systems team is part of G&A Systems within Global Technology Solutions (GTS). This group designs operates and continually improves the applications and workflows that power how Klaviyo manages money risk and financial reporting at scale.

The team partners closely with Finance Accounting Tax Treasury FP&A Procurement and Internal Audit as well as adjacent technology teams like Corporate IT Data and GTM Systems to ensure our backoffice stack is reliable wellintegrated compliant and ready for a public AIforward SaaS business. We own the roadmap health and governance of platforms including our ERP and financial systems (e.g. NetSuite/Oracle) procuretopay (e.g. Coupa) revenue and billing systems and related integrations and automation.

This role reports to the Director G&A Systems and leads the team responsible for Finance Technology Solutions across Klaviyo.

What Youll Do

As the Order to Cash (O2C) Lead Finance Systems you will be the accountable technology leader for Klaviyos O2C application landscape and core financial workflows. You will lead Enterprise and International Expansion capabilities that will provide revenue uplift for Klaviyo.

Own the O2C track

• Execute on the roadmap for Klaviyos O2C stack aligned to the company priorities by translating business requirements into functional and technical design. Bring first principles thinking to your design.
• Integrate CPQ to NetSuite and ensure that all Enterprise capabilities are delivered with scale.
• Look at O2C systems landscape and provide recommendations to set Klaviyo for the future
• Ensure we deliver with the highest code quality by thoroughly thinking through test cases and applying rigorous build and test.

Own SOX controls and audit readiness for Finance systems

• Own the design implementation and operation of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and other key controls across O2C applications in partnership with Internal Audit Security and external auditors.
• Continually simplify and automate controls and evidence collection so audits are reliable and predictable with fewer deficiencies and lower friction for Finance and GTS teams.

Drive AI-native transformation across Finance

• Lead Klaviyos push to make Finance one of the most automated insight-driven functions in the company. Youll identify and deliver high-value AI use cases across the O2C workflow.
• Youll partner directly with Klaviyos AI and data platform teams and Finance Engineering to embed AI into core Finance processes with clear guardrails measurable productivity gains and the rigor expected of a public company. This isnt a future-state vision its work already underway and youll own it from a Product standpoint.

Design and optimize core Finance processes and systems

• Have a leader mindset and partner with Controllership Tax Treasury leaders to improve and continuously refine endtoend O2C workflows ensuring systems and processes are tightly aligned.
• Ensure our ERP and other SaaS O2C applications are configured integrated and operated to support accurate timely close scalable revenue and billing and highquality financial data that downstream teams can trust.

Act as a strategic partner and communicator

• Serve as the primary technology partner for Controller and Finance leadership team on systems data and process topics;
• As needed represent Finance Technology Systems in executive forums planning cycles and crossfunctional initiatives ensuring O2C needs are anticipated and built into wider GTS and company roadmaps.

Who You Are

Youve spent your career at the intersection of Finance and Technology and youve moved beyond just keeping systems running. You think in product design roadmaps outcomes and partnerships. You know what a well-run O2C function looks like and you know how to build one.

Youve worked in teams through real complexity: ERP and other transformations SOX audits billing system overhauls or the messy work of integrating Finance systems across a growing company. You dont need a perfect environment to do great work you create structure where there isnt any and you bring Finance and engineering stakeholders along with you.

Specifically you likely bring:

• 10 years in enterprise or business systems with meaningful ownership of Finance technology at a tech or SaaS company; 4 years in O2C responsible for order-to cash
• Understanding of practical SOX ITGC experience and a clean track record working with Internal Audit and external auditors
• Solid understanding of enterprise-led growth international expansion and system features required to enable moving upmarket
• Hands-on in ERP and Finance application architecture (NetSuite/Oracle Avalara Zuora or similar) integration patterns and how Finance data flows across a modern tech stack
• Deliver business outcomes by partnering strong engineering team with AI build-first mentality
• Personally built or scaled AI and automation in Finance workflows - reconciliations invoice processing forecasting prep and can speak to what worked and what didnt
