Order Fulfillment Specialist (pick, inspect, and pack product)

The Order Fulfillment Specialist has a critical role - getting customer orders ready to ship by picking parts collecting manufactured products checking orders for accuracy & quality and packaging them for shipment.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Pick parts from inventory for customer orders
• Collect completed products from production areas
• Check parts quantities labels and product quality
• Maintain organization of orders and paperwork in the order staging area
• Package orders safely and efficiently including boxes and pallets
• Safely operate a forklift pallet jack and other material handling equipment
• Safety operate packaging machinery such as pallet wrapper bander scale and labelers
• Help load and unload trucks
• Keep work areas supplies and inventory organized
• Help with inventory and other departmental activities as needed
• Work closely with team members in Shipping Receiving and Production to ensure customer orders ship on time

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Previous forklift experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to follow work instructions and recognize when something doesnt look right
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for working with team members freight carriers and other internal departments
• Able to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds and carry them for up to 10 feet
• Able to stand sit bend reach and move about the facility
• Flexibility to accommodate changing tasks and priorities
