Job Summary

InterDent is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry Specialist to support administrative and operational activities involving orders supplies equipment and related documentation. The successful candidate will accurately process order information maintain records communicate with internal teams and vendors and help ensure that requests are completed efficiently and accurately.

This position may support a remote work arrangement depending on business requirements. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with databases spreadsheets and order-management systems and can maintain accuracy while handling multiple requests and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and process orders accurately into internal systems.
  • Review order requests for completeness pricing quantities and required information.
  • Verify order details against source documents and established procedures.
  • Monitor order status and follow up on outstanding requests.
  • Communicate with internal departments and vendors regarding order-related questions.
  • Maintain accurate order records invoices confirmations and supporting documentation.
  • Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrections with appropriate teams.
  • Prepare order reports and administrative summaries as requested.
  • Assist with inventory records and supply-related administrative activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling business patient employee or financial information.
  • Respond promptly to internal requests and provide accurate order information.
  • Support remote order-processing workflows and maintain effective communication with distributed teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in order entry data entry administrative support purchasing customer service or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and database systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve routine order issues.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment when applicable.
  • Strong commitment to accuracy confidentiality and customer service.

  • Experience working in healthcare dental medical supply or another regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with purchasing inventory procurement or order-management systems.
  • Experience processing invoices purchase orders or vendor documentation.
