This role sits at the center of a major hospital system s payroll accuracy workforce scheduling and enterprise pay practice integrity. The organization is seeking a senior Oracle Fusion Cloud Scheduling and Payroll Functional Manager who brings deep healthcare experience strong operational judgment and the ability to elevate a complex payroll environment into a predictable and compliant system.
The ideal leader has spent a decade or more inside hospital payroll operations and understands the real world impact of premium rules shift structures labor distribution and union driven pay logic. This is a role for someone who can see the entire system diagnose root causes quickly and guide both analysts and executives toward clarity.
You will be the functional owner for Scheduling Payroll Absence and Labor Distribution inside Oracle Cloud. Your work will directly influence payroll accuracy workforce stability and financial stewardship across the hospital.
What You Will Lead-
Ownership of Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll and Scheduling across configuration testing troubleshooting and reporting

Daily leadership of payroll operations to ensure accuracy compliance and timely processing

Functional authority for hospital pay practices including
-
Overtime rules including blended and weighted rates and daily and weekly thresholds

Holiday eligibility and premium application

Call in callback standby and on call logic
-
Shift differentials and specialty pay programs
-
Premiums for hours worked on scheduled days off

Work schedules rotations flex time and FTE driven rules

Configuration and stewardship of Labor Distribution structures including cost centers grants departments and unit staffing models

Enhancement of Absence Management including PTO sick time leave programs accruals and carryover

Partnership with technical teams on integrations interfaces workflows and Fast Formulas

Leadership across Oracle Cloud implementation cycles including requirements fit gap configuration conversion testing and training

Ownership of quarterly release testing and new feature adoption

Cross functional partnership with HR Nursing Administration Finance and Shared Services

Mentorship and development of payroll analysts and functional support staff

Ten to fifteen years in Payroll Operations or HRIS with strong preference for hospital or healthcare system experience

Demonstrated expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll and Scheduling

Strong understanding of payroll compliance tax processing and wage and hour regulations

Ability to translate business requirements into scalable system configuration

Experience with full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementations

Strong analytical and communication skills

Bachelor s degree required and Master s preferred

Oracle Cloud certifications in Payroll Scheduling or HCM

Experience supporting union labor agreements or large multi entity payroll environments

Experience working within shared services or enterprise HR transformation initiatives
