Overview
Client is seeking an Oracle APEX Developer to support software development activities across the full development lifecycle. This role involves designing developing testing debugging documenting and maintaining software solutions that address business and mission-related requirements while ensuring established software standards are met.
The successful candidate will apply software development best practices collaborate with system users and stakeholders and help deliver reliable optimized applications using Oracle technologies and Agile methodologies.
Core Responsibilities
Design develop document test and debug software applications that provide logical and mathematical solutions to business and mission requirements.
Apply software development standards processes procedures and tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications including Interactive Reports functionality.
Analyze system capabilities user requirements and business needs to create effective software solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve program errors optimize application performance and implement software development best practices.
Prepare operating instructions and technical documentation related to software development and maintenance activities.
Evaluate program intent output requirements data acquisition methods programming techniques and system controls to support application development.
Essential Qualifications Skills and Technologies
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Excellent communication and project documentation skills.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Oracle APEX Interactive Reports.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience applying Oracle software development best practices and optimization techniques.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working with Agile software methodologies and tools.
Preferred Skills or Experience
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Edition RDBMS 19c.
Experience developing PL/SQL packages stored procedures triggers functions and indexes.
Experience with JavaScript.
Work Details
Work Schedule: 5 Days a week onsite 1st Shift.
