O.R. Technician (CST) – Contract ORTECH 0519 AL#02

Location: New York New York (10029)
Schedule: 5 Days/Week 37.5 Hours/Week
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Technician (CST) for a contract assignment in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong surgical support experience including cardiac cases and be proficient in maintaining sterile environments and assisting during complex procedures.

• Assist surgeons and registered nurses during surgical procedures
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to aseptic techniques
• Prepare surgical instruments supplies and operating rooms
• Support patient positioning draping and specimen handling
• Perform sponge needle and instrument counts accurately
• Assist with operating room turnover and equipment sterilization
• Support circulating duties and patient transport as needed

• Minimum 2 years of OR Technician experience in a hospital setting
• Cardiac surgery experience required (must be clearly listed on resume)
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited CST training program required
