OR Tech Surgical Tech – Surgical Services 26-06021

Location: Burbank CA
Shift: Day Shift 5x8 Hours (6:30 AM 3:00 PM)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced OR Tech / Surgical Tech for a travel assignment in Burbank California. This opportunity is ideal for surgical professionals who thrive in a fast-paced operating room environment and are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures
• Set up sterile instruments equipment and surgical supplies
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during procedures
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control standards
• Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
• Handle instrumentation and surgical equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with patient positioning and room turnover between cases
• Document procedures and supplies accurately per facility protocol

• Recent experience as an OR Tech / Surgical Tech required
• Active BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of sterile processing and surgical procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume surgical environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
• Call requirement:
  • Approximately 46 call shifts within a 6-week schedule
  • Weekend call is included within the call rotation
• No block scheduling available
