OR Scrub Tech

We are seeking an experienced Surgery Scrub Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting a variety of surgical procedures and be comfortable working in a fast-paced operating room environment.

• Prepare and maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.

• Assist surgeons and the surgical team by anticipating instrument and supply needs.

• Scrub for a wide range of procedures including:

  • General Surgery

  • Trauma Surgery

  • Orthopedic Surgery

  • Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN)

  • Endoscopy Procedures

• Ensure proper handling sterilization and organization of surgical instruments and equipment.

• Adhere to all infection control patient safety and regulatory standards.

• Participate in on-call rotation as required.

• Four (4) 10-hour shifts per week

• Holiday coverage required

• On-call responsibilities required

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Scrub Tech experience.

• Experience scrubbing multiple surgical specialties including general trauma orthopedic OB/GYN and endoscopy procedures.

• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and operating room protocols.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team.

• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS)
