Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Attendant you will provide attentive service and dedicated support ensuring a welcoming and well-maintained environment for all.

Every day you will expertly assist individuals manage daily tasks maintain cleanliness and order and meticulously respond to needs to foster a positive experience.

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate outstanding helpfulness strong organizational skills and a friendly proactive demeanor contributing to overall guest/client satisfaction.

  • Demonstrates the ability to safely and competently perform tasks skills duties procedures and responsibilities according to Medical Center Policy and Procedure. Including but not limited to:
  • Demonstrates ability to assess/interpret age-specific data.
  • Encourages involvement of patient/family/significant other in decision making related to plan of care.
  • Maintains a safe patient environment: a. puts side rails up b. ensures patient floor is clean/dry prior to patient ambulation c. keeps cleaning supplies out of reach of patients/visitors d. maintains a neat and orderly patient environment e. monitors visitors/visitor control
  • Contributes to patient safety: a. fall risk (side rails wheelchair brakes use of patient walker/cane patient footwear) b. choking risk (listens for and responds to sounds of choking) c. reports safety concerns to licensed nurse d. cleans transport equipment after each use
  • Performs patient and specimen transport to include: a. coordinate patient and specimen transport b. prepare equipment for transportation and delivery c. assists in the admission transfer and discharge of patients d. cleans transport equipment after each use
Job Requirements

  • AHA Basic Life Support - CPR


Preferred

  • High School Graduate or GED
