This role provides leadership and support to administrative and clerical staff works closely with providers and clinical teams and ensures efficient workflows quality patient service appropriate staffing and compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations. The Practice Manager supports routine financial and administrative activities while addressing the operational needs of the assigned ResponsibilitiesOversee daily administrative operations within the assigned practice or department to ensure efficient workflows appropriate staffing and timely completion of departmental and support administrative and clerical staff including scheduling training performance feedback and staff with providers and clinical staff to address operational needs improve workflows and support quality patient timekeeping attendance leave and payroll submissions in accordance with organizational routine financial activities including expense tracking budget monitoring billing and reimbursement office policies and procedures and support compliance with HIPAA OSHA and other applicable healthcare staff licensure certifications required training and other compliance-related records as patient and staff concerns professionally and identify opportunities to improve service and practice backup coverage for other departmental positions and responsibilities as other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the department and & ExperienceBachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Business Administration or a related field preferred.5 years of administrative or healthcare experience including 23 years of office or practice management experience supervising or coordinating staff in a medical practice or healthcare setting experience & CompetenciesStrong leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with providers staff and of healthcare practice operations administrative processes and patient judgment and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage routine operational with EMR systems Microsoft Office and other administrative organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and ConditionsWork is primarily performed in a clinical office setting and involves frequent telephone and in-person communication with patients and role involves continuous engagement and interaction with others and may involve occasional or frequent work environment reflects typical conditions found in a medical practice including exposure to standard clinical equipment patient interactions and administrative is potential exposure to common medical practice conditions including communicable diseases bodily fluids and chemical demands include walking bending reaching lifting up to 20 pounds stooping assisting patients and prolonged periods of position may also involve occasional stress due to multiple responsibilities and competing job description outlines the general nature and responsibilities of the role and is not an exhaustive list of duties or requirements.
