Job Summary
We are seeking an Operator to support the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. The role will involve assembly repair testing documentation and handling of small components while following strict quality and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly repair and testing of medical device components and assemblies.
- Follow standardized work instructions procedures and verbal directions.
- Handle and maneuver small components and parts with accuracy.
- Maintain accurate production traveler and quality documentation.
- Ensure all parts are properly tracked and traceable.
- Use electronic data collection systems and computer software.
- Follow all safety quality and regulatory requirements.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate problems ideas and solutions clearly with manufacturing management.
- Meet individual and cell-level quality and production goals.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with internal and external customers.
- Support QMS EMS and other manufacturing compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing production assembly or medical device experience preferred.
- Ability to read understand and follow written procedures.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic systems.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle small components.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
- Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of basic Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred.
Production Environment / Dress Requirements
- Must follow strict cleanroom/production-area gowning and clothing requirements.
- Clothing must be clean non-shedding and free of loose threads frayed edges glitter sequins tassels or similar materials.
- No fleece loose-knit sweater or loose-fiber garments.
- Fully enclosed shoes are required; no sandals clogs slippers or open-toe/open-heel shoes.
- Shoes must have a heel no higher than 2 inches.
- Pants and tops must provide appropriate coverage for the production environment.
- Nail polish artificial/acrylic nails and certain jewelry/body piercings are not permitted in the production area.
- Personal items must comply with production-area safety and gowning requirements.
