Introduction:

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Operations Warehouse Admin position. This position is a contract opportunity with a potential of transition to direct. It will primarily be an on-site position in Orlando FL.

Summary:

As anOperations Warehouse Admin you will assist the inventory control team in documenting / updating/creating SOPs by functional areas within the warehouse. You will be involved in updating inventory part records in regard to obsolescence.

Core responsibilities will be:

Provide support to Supply Chain and Warehouse teams in the execution of technical activities associated with process improvements such as:
- SOP documentation / updating
- Part usage analysis
- Warehouse design and layout
- Kitting of parts for manufacturing and assembly
Projects & Continuous Improvement
Learn and perform testing to enhance system usage and support execution of
material movement throughout two warehouse locations
Assist in obsolescence review / removal from inventory and system update
Lead other projects as assigned

Details:

Required Experience and Education:

Knowledge of MRP systems production control and inventory control.
Microsoft Office suite experience.
Associates degree required.

Preferred Experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Familiarity with fundamental warehouse procedures
Lean manufacturing experience including 5S.
