Job Summary
Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Operations Warehouse Admin position. This position is a contract opportunity with a potential of transition to direct. It will primarily be an on-site position in Orlando FL.
Summary:
- Provide support to Supply Chain and Warehouse teams in the execution of technical activities associated with process improvements such as:
- SOP documentation / updating
- Part usage analysis
- Warehouse design and layout
- Kitting of parts for manufacturing and assembly - Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Learn and perform testing to enhance system usage and support execution of
material movement throughout two warehouse locations - Assist in obsolescence review / removal from inventory and system update
- Lead other projects as assigned
- Knowledge of MRP systems production control and inventory control.
- Microsoft Office suite experience.
- Associates degree required.
- Familiarity with fundamental warehouse procedures
- Lean manufacturing experience including 5S.
