Operations Supervisor

• Hands-on role coordinating day-to-day operations

Your new role:

• Drive operational efficiencies within the team continual review and improvement of collection runs and service delivery
• Develop and mentor a collaborative efficient and engaged team.
• Coordinate the scheduling of the day-to-day operations of driver runs
• Ensure all pre-start post-run and minor day-to-day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment
• Lead a high level of customer service within the collection teams investigate and resolve service issues
• Consult with line management in the development and management of operational targets
• Enforce and monitor all NHVR regulations
• Coordinate incident investigations and ride alongs
• Manage and prepare detailed reports on labour efficiencies and overall cost management
• Lead performance management investigations and outcomes

Your skills and experience:

• Experienced Supervisor with a transport & logistics background
• Exposure to and knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation
• Knowledge of the NHV legislation
• A passion for safety and sustainability
