Operations Supervisor

• Assist in scheduling and executing daily workload.
• Supervise fleet activities ensuring drivers are dispatched quickly and loads are assigned/delivered efficiently.
• Act as the main point of contact and maintain communication with customers on planning and delivering materials to their site.
• Ensure accurate order entry and scheduling of deliveries.
• Utilize GPS systems to track equipment and adjust for delays in real time. Monitor for safety and coach drivers when needed. Present pertinent information to managers.
• Serve as escalation point for driver breakdowns and communicate with correct party to resolve issues.
• Maintain driver records and maintenance request reports.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Bachelors degree preferred
• Ability to work 40-50 hours on site with overtime pay
• Ability to create and read maps/familiarity of Chicagoland area
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective telephone (oral) and written (email) communication skills
• Strong PC skills such as Microsoft programs including Word Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and also independently
• Attention to detail

• Starting pay is $25-27/hr
• Pay is determined by experience skill education and other factors
