- Lead coach and develop a team of warehouse associates in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Supervise daily operations across receiving inventory control order fulfillment and shipping functions.
- Monitor productivity quality service and safety metrics to ensure operational goals are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regulatory requirements and warehouse safety procedures.
- Conduct employee performance discussions coaching sessions and development planning.
- Analyze operational data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and implement improvements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Logistics Transportation Quality Inventory Control and Customer Service to support operational goals.
- Manage workforce scheduling staffing utilization and labor planning to meet customer demand.
- Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions and improve efficiency.
- Support Lean Continuous Improvement and process optimization initiatives within the distribution center.
- High school diploma GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of experience in warehouse distribution center logistics supply chain or related operations environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience including leading teams coaching employees or serving in a team lead supervisor or similar role.
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management software.
- Ability to analyze operational metrics and make data-driven decisions.
- Working knowledge of warehouse safety practices and OSHA regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings weekends and holidays as business needs require.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration Operations Management or related field.
- Previous supervisory experience in a high-volume distribution center.
- Experience managing inbound outbound and inventory operations.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Kaizen or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with labor planning workforce scheduling and productivity management.
- Strong problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Healthcare distribution pharmaceutical distribution or medical supply experience.
- Primarily onsite in a distribution center environment.
- Frequently required to walk throughout the facility and spend time on the warehouse floor.
- Ability to stand walk bend and move throughout the shift.
- May occasionally lift or move materials up to established safety guidelines.
- Must be able to work in varying warehouse conditions including temperature-controlled and non-temperature-controlled areas.
