Operations Specialist

Boxes 4 U is a growing packaging and shipping supply company. Our warehouse team plays a key role in making sure customers get the right product on time every time. Were looking for someone dependable organized and ready to jump in where needed.

The Operations Specialist supports day to day activity at the Houston warehouse keeping inventory records orders and shipments accurate inside NetSuite while working closely with warehouse staff and leading operations to keep the floor running smoothly. This person will need to be a fast learner and have a strong motivation for forward advancement.

• Enter and track inbound and outbound shipments purchase orders and inventory transactions in NetSuite

• Physically load and unload inbound and outbound trucks

• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment (MHE)

• Perform picking packing shipping cycle counts and put away using the warehouse management system (WMS)

• Reconcile physical inventory counts against NetSuite and WMS records and flag discrepancies

• Coordinate with warehouse staff on staging receiving and outgoing loads

• Generate and review reports on inventory levels order status and warehouse activity

• Support month end close by verifying transaction accuracy and resolving data errors

• Maintain organized records for crates materials and equipment

• Communicate with vendors and internal teams on order timing and delivery updates

• Assist with process improvements as the warehouse scales operations

• High school diploma

• Basic math skills for counting measuring and reconciling inventory

• Professional written and verbal communication skills

• Microsoft Office comfort in Outlook Excel Teams and Word

• Hands on experience working in NetSuite

• Solid supply chain and operations knowledge

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems

• Experience with inventory audits or cycle counts

• Comfortable in a warehouse environment including physically loading and unloading trucks

• Able to safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment (MHE)

• Strong attention to detail and record keeping accuracy across inventory and WMS transactions

• Able to work the scheduled hours of 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Overtime when needed.

• Initiative and enthusiasm to jump in and lead

• Associates degree preferred

• Previous operations experience

• Ability to drive 26FT box truck
