Operations Research Engineer 1

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in maintaining OR-owned data tools such as UPMs FOEs FOWs Solomon and yield tracking systems.
Supports data collection and documentation for economic studies and process evaluations.
Participates in engineering program coordination and learns project planning fundamentals.
Observes and assists in analyzing operating conditions (e.g. temperature pressure catalyst performance) to support product quality and cost reduction.
Helps prepare basic cost estimates and scope documentation for small-scale equipment modifications.
Supports training sessions and contributes to procedural documentation.
Learns and applies environmental protection standards; assists in tracking compliance documentation.
Promotes safety awareness by reporting unsafe conditions and supporting corrective actions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering required.
Zero (0) years or more of experience as a process engineer in the refining or petrochemical industry required.
