The New Product Introduction Operations Program Specialist (NPI OPS) plays a key role in launching Apples new products on time with superior product quality and maximum customer availability. We support the fast-paced development and launch of Apples products. You will be a key facilitator who defines and drives material to enable manufacturing line bring-up and collaborate with engineering to define final bill of materials. Overall mission is a successful product launch with all lines brought up on schedule and within budget. n

Lead Apple u0026 Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operations teams in executing early operations builds u0026 line bring-up material strategyn Track readiness/risks: work with procurement teams and engineering teams on material down- selections technical and production risksnLead communications resolve issues and clearly communicate current status. nInfluence product cost and product margin through material usage optimization projectsn Communicate system requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with cross- functional teamsnNPI owner in ordering tracking and actualizing material to support development builds u0026 product ramp; drive material delivery through Apple Procurement and direct with suppliers to ensure on-time deliverynCross-functional owner for tracking u0026 BOM readinessnCreate purchase orders maintain invoice tracking and goods receipts

Requires 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Procurement or Buyer Degree preferably in Supply Chain/Operations Science or EngineeringnAbility to travel internationally up to 15%

Ability to consolidate detailed and extensive cross-functional data into concise executive briefingsnStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate complex scenarios in simple terms to OEM and working level teams as well as executivesnExcel Database u0026 Statistical Software (SPSS SAS SQL etc.) experience a plus
