Job Summary

Koniag Operations Services LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking an Operations Manager with a TS/SCI security clearance to support KOS and our government customer in Washington DC. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader and skilled communicator with a strong background in facilities management capable of managing complex projects while ensuring compliance with all applicable safety environmental and regulatory requirements. The Facilities Operations & Maintenance Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for building managers Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) contractors vendors and internal stakeholders. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning coordinating and managing all aspects of facilities operations and maintenance support from initiation through completion ensuring all projects are delivered on time within budget and in full compliance with safety environmental and regulatory responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Oversee and coordinate all aspects of facilities operations and maintenance (O&M) support including minor building alterations and cyclical maintenance as the primary point of contact for building managers CORs contractors vendors and internal stakeholders throughout all phases of project schedule and manage facilities operations projects from initiation through completion ensuring adherence to established timelines and and track project milestones deliverables and performance metrics providing regular status updates and reports to stakeholders and all work is performed in compliance with applicable safety environmental and regulatory requirements including federal state and local codes and and manage contractor and vendor activities including reviewing scopes of work overseeing performance and ensuring quality standards are potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project schedules and site inspections and walkthroughs to assess facility conditions identify maintenance needs and verify completion of and maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules budgets reports and with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders to reconcile project requirements and ensure alignment with mission the development and review of Statements of Work (SOW) cost estimates and procurement and coordinate cyclical and preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal facility performance and and Experience:Required:Bachelors degree in Facilities Management Construction Management Engineering Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of of 10 years of experience in operations and maintenance (O&M) support services and/or facilities Skills and Competencies:Exceptional communication skills in English both written and oral with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting knowledge of facilities operations and maintenance principles practices and industry serving as a primary point of contact for government representatives building managers CORs contractors and in project management methodologies including the ability to develop and maintain detailed project schedules and of applicable federal state and local safety environmental and regulatory requirements governing facilities operations and construction reviewing and managing contractor performance scopes of work and quality assurance to conduct facility inspections and assessments identify deficiencies and develop corrective action problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Project) and project management to develop and maintain thorough project documentation reports and Requirement:Active Top Secret/SCI Skills and Competencies:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Facility Manager (CFM) designation from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).Experience working in a federal government facilities management with government contracting processes Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and working with Contracting Officer Representatives (COR).Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and/or facility management software of energy management and sustainability practices in federal facility supporting Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) or other government contract 30-hour Construction or General Industry Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
