POSITION SUMMARY

The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the Director of Operations in overseeing and directing the Rhino office operations to ensure efficiency and profitability including the supervision of all office personnel overseeing field operations and supervisors and maintaining working relationships with clients.


This is a full-time position in our office in Atlanta GA.

Availability & flexibility to work extended hours on nights weekends and holidays as necessary to accommodate our scheduled events.

Requirements

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Assist in the management of all functions of the Rhino office.

Work with the Director of Operations to ensure that company objectives are established and met.

Promote a work environment that stresses quality service and product and profitability for the company.

Assist the Director of Operations in making and executing certain hiring/promotion and termination decisions for all office personnel as appropriate.

Assist the Director of Operations in the review and assessment of all office personnel including scheduling department and administrative assistant(s) production and procedures to ensure quality and quantity needs are met as well as the companys bottom line.

Assist the Human Resources Manager with employee relations issues.

Oversee all aspects of the Scheduling Department ensuring all shifts are properly booked in a timely manner.

Monitor scheduling to ensure proper labor is booked and assist with making calls as necessary and appropriate.

Address complaints and assist office personnel with problem solving as appropriate.

Maintain good standing client working relationships including occasionally traveling to job sites and attending client meetings.

Handle monitor and/or directly supervise any other aspect of the function and operation of the Rhino office as delegated by the Director of Operations and/or as appropriate.

Will handle all after-hours business as necessary while being the on-call representative on a rotational basis.

Accurately handle invoicing in a timely manner.


COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS

Ability to effectively communicate by phone and in person with all levels of employees as well as outside contacts including employees of other Rhino locations clients and potential clients in a professional manner.

Ability to read analyze and interpret all necessary documentation.

Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

Ability to maintain composure in high stress environments and situations.

Ability to comprehend and enforce all company policies.


OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES

Solid working knowledge of the entertainment industry including general practices as well as equipment and job functions of the field employees is preferred.

Ability to operate computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and Gmail as well as our scheduling system.

Ability to multi-task.

Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Capable of sitting or standing for prolonged periods while using a computer or participating in meetings. Able to walk and stand for extended durations as well as bend twist stoop kneel reach and lift up to 50 lbs.

Prolonged use of computer screens for scheduling tracking data and communication.

This position is subject to varying levels of travel as well as varying levels of noise heat and smoke when on the job site.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

2-5 years previous managerial or supervisory experience

High School diploma or equivalent Bachelors Degree preferred.

Entertainment Industry experience is a plus.
