About the Operations Manager Events & Revenue Management Role:

BRIC seeks an Operations Manager Events & Revenue to manage the BRIC rentals program oversee front-of-house operations for events and support revenue growth across BRIC House venues. Reporting to the Associate Director Operations working closely with the Chief Revenue Officer and directly supervising the Audience Services Coordinator this role serves as the primary point of contact for external rental clients to ensure every event at BRIC delivers a strong audience experience and meets revenue goals.


What Youll Do in the Role:

The Operations Manager Events & Revenue will be responsible for the following in addition to any other project as assigned by their manager the Associate Director Operations:

Rentals Sales & Client Coordination

  • Manage the full rentals sales cycle for BRIC House and outdoor venues from inquiry response and lead qualification to contract execution and post-event follow-up in line with revenue targets set by the Associate Director Operations
  • Market the rentals program to corporate clients production companies nonprofits event planners and community organizations to support revenue growth
  • Track leads conversions and revenue performance against quarterly and annual targets; report results to the Associate Director Operations
  • Recommend pricing strategies promotional packages and seasonal offerings to support venue revenue and occupancy
  • Partner with Marketing on rental sales collateral digital presence and outreach campaigns
  • Maintain relationships with repeat clients event planners and industry partners to support a referral network

Rental Event Management

  • Act as primary event manager and lead client contact for rental events coordinating walk-throughs planning sessions and on-site execution
  • Work within established workflows event management software solutions and digital tools for meticulous record keeping
  • Prepare bids contracts and expense estimates within established pricing and templates for review by the Associate Director
  • Process the full transactional workflow including payment scheduling contracting and security deposit management within established procedures
  • Coordinate with Production Operations Marketing and Front of House teams to deliver seamless rental experiences
  • Contract with outside services as needed for client requirements within approved scope

  • Experience:
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience plus 4 years in venue rentals event sales hospitality or arts/cultural operations
    • Demonstrated experience managing a sales pipeline client relationships and event contracts toward revenue targets
    • Experience supervising front-of-house box office or hospitality staff for live events
    • Working knowledge of event logistics ADA and accessibility requirements and cash/box office reconciliation processes
    • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and overlapping events simultaneously
  • Communication & Relationship Building: An emotionally intelligent values- and results-driven leader who can inspire staff and collaborate across departments and at all levels of the organization

  • Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $50K - $60K.
  • Status and location: This is a full-time exempt role based in our Brooklyn office.
