Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading manufacturing warehouse inventory fulfillment and production operations to ensure the safe efficient and cost-effective manufacturing and delivery of high-quality products. This role oversees production planning supply chain coordination operational performance team leadership inventory management and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead manufacturing warehouse inventory and fulfillment operations.
- Develop operational strategies to improve productivity quality and cost efficiency.
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement performance improvement initiatives.
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to align production with customer demand.
- Oversee production scheduling staffing and resource allocation.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
- Partner with Engineering and Quality teams on new product introductions and process improvements.
- Improve equipment reliability and reduce production downtime.
- Manage receiving inventory control shipping warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ensure inventory accuracy using ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Optimize warehouse layout material flow and transportation activities.
- Lead coach and develop production and warehouse teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations company policies and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8 years of experience in manufacturing warehouse operations supply chain or logistics.
- 3 years of leadership experience managing production or warehouse teams.
- Experience managing end-to-end operations and multiple functional areas.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations inventory control and fulfillment.
- Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with electronics manufacturing production processes and quality control.
- Strong leadership analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
