The role

As an Operations Manager youll be responsible for leading operational activities within a specialist services environment ensuring performance is delivered in line with customer requirements regulatory obligations and business objectives.

You will work 37 hours per week based at Berkeley Gloucestershire. Hybrid working patterns are available with a minimum onsite presence of three days per week.

Day-to-day youll

• Leading coordinating and developing operational teams to ensure resources are deployed effectively and objectives are achieved.
• Delivering health safety quality environmental and security performance through effective leadership governance and accountability.
• Implementing operational plans schedules and improvement programmes to achieve departmental objectives and key performance indicators.
• Championing continuous improvement initiatives and introducing innovative approaches that enhance operational performance and service delivery.
• Managing budgets and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business performance and customer satisfaction.

Essential experience of Operations Manager:

• Experience successfully delivering multiple complex services across large and small-scale operational activities.
• Strong operational leadership experience within a regulated environment.
• Financial awareness including previous profit and loss responsibility.
• Sound commercial awareness and customer service expertise.
• Experience developing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications for the Operations Manager:

• Demonstrable operational management experience within a manufacturing engineering nuclear defence utilities or similarly regulated environment.

Security Clearance
