Position Summary
The Operations & Logistics Specialist plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing inventory management and shipping operations at Movoras New Jersey facility. This position is responsible for ensuring products are processed packaged received stored and shipped accurately and efficiently while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
The role supports both operational production activities and warehouse logistics functions partnering closely with Supply Chain Quality Engineering and Sales to ensure timely delivery of products and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Support
- Prepare clean inspect package and label medical device products.
- Support clean room and production activities.
- Operate equipment used in product preparation and packaging.
- Maintain work areas supplies and equipment in a clean and organized manner.
Shipping & Receiving
- Receive inspect and process incoming shipments.
- Pick pack and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
- Prepare domestic and international shipments using carrier software.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve shipping issues.
Inventory Management
- Perform inventory transactions within Sage ERP.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
- Follow quality safety and regulatory requirements.
- Support process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with maintaining documentation and operational procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in warehouse logistics shipping/receiving manufacturing or operations.
- Experience using ERP systems such as Sage Business Central or similar inventory management software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse activities.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with domestic and international shipping.
- Experience with FedEx UPS or other shipping platforms.
- Inventory control and cycle counting experience.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing walking bending and lifting.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment including the use of required PPE.
