As an Operations & Environmental Specialist youll play a critical role in shaping the safety reliability and performance of our operations. Serving as both a trusted technical expert and environmental specialist youll partner with operators engineers maintenance teams and site leaders to solve complex challenges optimize processes and drive continuous this highly visible role youll help ensure regulatory compliance strengthen operational excellence and advance a culture where safety sustainability and innovation thrive. Your expertise will directly influence plant performance employee development environmental stewardship and the successful execution of projects that support Lubrizols long-term growth and success.

In this role youll:

• Serve as the technical and environmental health and safety subject matter expert for the assigned unit or process area.

• Provide coaching and knowledge transfer to operators enhancing technical competency troubleshooting capabilities and operational effectiveness.

• Support process and equipment performance improvement byidentifying investigating and resolving technical issues.

• Lead andparticipatein root cause analyses incident investigations and corrective action implementation.

• Partner with maintenance reliability engineering and operations teams to improve assetutilization productivity and reliability.

• Develop implement andmaintainsafety health environmental and regulatory compliance programs and procedures.

• Monitor compliance activities audits inspections data collection and reporting requirements to ensure adherence to applicable regulations.

• ProvideEH&S guidance for projects outages turnarounds and operational change initiatives.

• Drive continuous improvement efforts by sharing best practicesidentifyingopportunities and supporting implementation of operational standards.

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of experience supporting manufacturing chemical processing industrial operations or a related environment.

• Experience supporting manufacturing chemical processing industrial operations ora related environment.

• Knowledge of process equipment troubleshooting methodologies and root cause analysis techniques.

• Understanding ofenvironmental health safety and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Strong communication coaching and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across functions.

• Ability to analyze dataidentifytrends and implement sustainable improvements.

Preferred Qualifications that Drive You Forward

• Associates or Bachelorsdegree with 2 years of relevant experience.

• Professional certifications related to safety environmental compliance reliability or process improvement.

• Experience with process safety management regulatory audits or continuous improvement methodologies.

• Experience using environmental reporting maintenance reliability or manufacturing systems.
