Job Summary

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates field and laboratory technicians and assist supervisors in assigning tasks to them on individual projects
  • Assist in the training of technicians and provides input on performance of technicians
  • Prepares construction materials testing and observation reports which provide written documentation of services performed
  • Work directly with clients to meet needs
  • Performs safety audits of technical staff as applicable

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education High school diploma required; 2-year Vocational degree in Civil Engineering Technology Civil Engineering or construction management a plus

Experience and/or Training Experience with materials testing preferred

Licenses/Certificates Current drivers license required; ACI Field Level I Certification preferred Nuclear Density Gauge Certification preferred DOT ICC and NICET certifications preferred/ability to obtain as needed

Technology/Equipment Experience with Microsoft applications preferred

Work/Environment

Generally will be a jobsite environment which will often be loud can be outside in all weather conditions and/or tightly enclosed areas and can have uneven walking surfaces. Sometimes will be an office environment using computer telephone other office equipment as needed to perform duties frequent interruptions throughout the day likely.

Travel Requirements

Occasional out-of-town travel as needed for business needs totaling less than 5% annually. Can require consistent local travel daily without overnight to drive a pickup truck or SUV.

$55000.00 - $82000.00
