Job Description:
This job is responsible for the day-to-day resolution of complex problems and the research and execution of complex transactions for a single site/business unit or smaller business unit(s). Key responsibilities include strategically advising upon the design development and implementation of products systems and services using discretion within the project management methodologies.

Corporate Accounts Payable (CAP) is a global operations function that supports 42 countries. We are an integrated team with plenty of opportunity to learn and grow as our functional teams include: Payee Operations & Invoicing Global Employee Expense Reimbursement Global Service Center & Card Administration AP Research & Accounting Indirect Tax (Business Personal Property US Sales & Use tax and Withholding taxes) and Project Initiatives teams. This job is responsible for resolving day-to-day complex problems researching and executing on complex transactions for multiple sites or larger business unit(s). Key responsibilities include monitoring general ledger accounts investigating and resolving reconciliation exceptions through detailed analysis collaborating with regional non-U.S. CAP teams and preparing journal entries to clear outstanding GL items. Also responsible for domestic and international funding activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Advises on the design development and implementation of complex products systems and services in an operations environment using discretionary judgment
  • Advises on projects and directs activities of a team related to special initiatives
  • Advises as a technical expert in assigned area providing an understanding of the business units operations processes and implications on other groups within the operations function
  • Consults on present-state develops alternative future-state approaches and facilitates implementations by creating a clear and coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup execution and control
  • Identifies and recommends responsibilities and accountabilities for key programs/projects
  • Analyzes current state processes and discovers pain points to develop approaches for potential solutions including building a business case for improvement or automation recommendations
  • Coordinates with leadership on project tasks
  • Establishes and maintains partnerships with Accounts Payable Regional teams
  • Performs risk management activities to minimize process risks
  • Leverages business knowledge to identify opportunities for improvement

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
