Job Summary

Description

This role combines operational and financial analysis responsibilities to support the efficiency effectiveness and financial vitality of the Department of Pediatrics operations. The position provides comprehensive data analysis assists in developing and monitoring budgets and drives process improvement initiatives. The analyst partners with clinical and administrative leadership to ensure accurate timely and actionable data for decision-making while promoting financial literacy and operational excellence.

Essential Functions:

  1. Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by employees supervisor.

  2. Demonstrate proficiency in spreadsheets databases and financial reports and dashboards using tools such as EPIC Qlik Sense CHA Prospect and other systems.
  3. Create maintain and analyze internal and external databases to ensure accurate and timely financial and operational data including but not limited to billing analyses template utilization etc.
  4. Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends variances and improvement opportunities.
  5. Assist in developing and monitoring operational and capital budgets including revenue and expenses.
  6. Provide monthly financial statements and resolve data issues with Accounting and Budget teams.
  7. Identify and investigate revenue opportunities; ensure accurate charge capture and billing.
  8. Partner with leadership to review expense management and cost-saving opportunities.
  9. Support staffing analysis and productivity measures across the Department of Pediatrics.
  10. Monitor systems recommend improvements and implement changes to enhance quality of care and resource utilization.
  11. Work with clinical and non-clinical teams to develop countermeasures for operational and financialchallenges.

Job Requirements:

Bachlors degree required

Advanced proficiency in Excel financial systems (Lawson or equivalent) and analytics tools (Qlik Sense). Familiarity with EMR systems (EPIC) and operational databases

1-3 years of job related experience
