Position Purpose: The Operations & Administrative Intern provides administrative and project support across the Accounting Human Resources and Manufacturing departments. This role will maintain accurate records support compliance initiatives and work with data to improve processes. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while contributing to key operational and administrative projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Scan organize and electronically file invoices production travelers and other business documents
Maintain organized digital filing systems to ensure documents are accurate complete and easily accessible
Provide administrative support for Accounts Payable projects including document preparation data organization and record maintenance
Distribute collect and track monthly facility safety checklists for HR department
Assist with tracking employee training records and maintaining training documentation
Collect validate analyze and evaluate operational data to support dashboard development and reporting for the Director of Operations
Assist with additional administrative projects and departmental needs as assigned
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a high school vocational or college program
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Comfortable working with data and maintaining accurate records
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Outlook Excel and Word
Strong written and verbal communication skills
