Operational Accountant 2

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Supplier Enablement & Ariba Operations Specialist - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in West Des Moines IA or Charlotte NC. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This contingent role supports Ariba and PeopleSoft projects by creating new suppliers and modifying existing ones. The specialist will perform end-to-end supplier setup and maintenance requests analyze risks in processes and document procedures to improve performance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who works independently collaborates with internal and external partners and manages system clean-up projects to maintain data accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements within Operational Accounting
• Handle unique supplier setup and maintenance requests tied to projects
• Answer questions on process for peers managers and internal/external customers
• Troubleshoot escalated and complex questions from internal business groups and external suppliers
• Prioritize and complete escalations independently
• Analyze risks in processes and document procedures and training requirements
• Manage system clean-up projects to maintain a system of record free from error such as inactivating unused supplier locations
• Ensure successful supplier onboarding by partnering closely with Ariba supplier contacts and various Supply Chain Management roles

Requirements:

• 2 years of Operational Accounting experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience training military experience or education
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter requiring little direction or management oversight
• Strong collaboration skills

Pay range: $20.16 - $28.16 per hour
