• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $70.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 36-hour Day/Night Rotation; 12-hour shifts; 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM start times; every 3rd weekend as needed; every other holiday; call: 1x per schedule
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

This contract Operating Room Technologist position is based in the surgical services department of a large hospital facility in Boston MA. The OR is staffed 24/7 across 22 operating rooms and covers a broad range of surgical specialties. The role may include floating to other OR campuses including Moakley as needed.

• Perform scrub technologist duties across surgical services including general gynecology genitourinary oral otolaryngology bariatrics orthopedics neurosurgery vascular thoracic cardiac plastics podiatry robotics pediatrics trauma and spine
• Maintain competency in at least 5 of the listed surgical services
• Float to Moakley or other OR campuses if needed
• Demonstrate a positive attitude flexibility and excellent communication skills

• 3 years of inpatient surgery experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required; must have trauma experience

• Competency in at least 5 of the following surgical services: general gynecology genitourinary oral otolaryngology bariatrics orthopedics neurosurgery vascular thoracic cardiac plastics podiatry robotics pediatrics trauma spine
• Positive attitude and flexibility in a fast-paced 24/7 OR environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to float to other OR campuses as needed

• NBSTSA certification required (no other certification accepted)
• BLS certification required

• OR is staffed 24/7; candidate must be available for rotating day/night shifts weekend holiday and call obligations
• Talent who reside less than 50 miles from the facility will be placed at a local rate (local rate is $10 less than the posted bill rate)
• May be required to float to Moakley or other OR campuses as needed
