A healthcare organization is seeking an experiencedOperating Room Nurse Supervisor (RN) to provide leadership and clinical support within a surgical services department. Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily operations within the surgical services department

  • Support and coordinate staffing schedules assignments and workflow management

  • Assist with performance evaluations staff development and coaching initiatives

  • Promote compliance with nursing standards policies and regulatory requirements

  • Ensure safe and effective patient care delivery throughout the surgical process

  • Collaborate with physicians nursing leaders and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

  • Monitor quality outcomes and support patient safety initiatives

  • Assist with patient flow care coordination and transitions across the continuum of care

  • Participate in operational planning process improvement and departmental projects

  • Provide direct patient care and clinical support as needed

  • Foster a positive collaborative and professional work environment

Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Previous operating room nursing experience required

  • Prior leadership charge nurse or supervisory experience required

  • Perioperative nursing certification preferred

  • Strong communication problem-solving and team development skills

  • Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
